Native Americans

The Native American exhibit is presented by the generous support of the City of Duncanville.  Artifacts of the Lakota Sioux Tribe on exhibit include authentic arrows and arrowheads, war axes, ceremonial buffalo rattle, scalp display, a Granddaughter doll as well as a dream catcher and war bussel.

On temporary loan from the Kelli Howie collection is a Cherokee war bonnet and an extensive Zuni and Pueblo pottery collection.

The focal point of the exhibit is a miniature Lakota Sioux buffalo hide tepee.
