WE ARE REGISTERING NOW FOR FREE TEACHER’S SEMINAR!
Now in its 6th year, the Nissan Foundation Educators Seminar is our way of appreciating educators and teachers by providing accredited continuing education credits at no cost!
This free program covers various topics and is designed to augment cultural diversity and awareness, and introduce new and existing education programs that can be provided by the museum all year long.
WHEN: August 1 – 2, 2016
WHERE: International Museum of Cultures, 411 E. Highway 67, Duncanville, TX 75137
WHO: Open to educators at all levels in public, private, charter, home schools as well as college/university educators.
WHAT: Bring the World into Your Classroom: A Focus on Multiculturalism and the Arts using Critical Thinking Methods
Half-day event of presentations and demonstrations highlighting Multiculturalism and the Arts. The afternoon ends with a reception and Gallery Tour with the Artist sponsored by Panera Bread.
Full-day seminar focused on Critical Thinking and Critical Writing workshops utilizing the Museum’s Discovery Boxes.
