Events below are being held at the Museum unless noted otherwise.



Friday Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m.  “Light to the World,” a 51-minute film about Bahá’u’lláh,
founder of the Bahá’í Faith, who was born 200 years ago.  It is free and the public is welcome.

Saturday October 21 at 1:00 p.m. Southwest Dallas County AAUW  invites public to free program in the Museum conference room to learn about interesting science activities your family can do at home.  There will also be an associated meeting of folks interested in helping develop new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Math) activities for the Museum.

Saturday October 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. International Pot-luck Dinner and program about Cuba. No fee. Please bring a dish (Cuban cuisine or other) or soft drinks / juice to share. The program will feature a talk by a woman who has led 3 recent visits to Cuba with her church group.

November is Native American Heritage Month.  Come and view interesting artifacts and an informative exhibit about tribes in the Texas area.
