      Upcoming Events at the Museum:

May 26 at 7:00pm. FREE  film  “Queen of Katwe” (set in Uganda)
Based on a vibrant true story starring Lupita Nyong’o and David Oyelowo. A Ugandan  girl’s life changes forever when she discovers she has an amazing talent for chess in this celebration of the human spirit. Meaningful, inspiring.
Join us this month for the film, and return next month (4th Saturday)  for our pot-luck dinner with a program featuring Uganda. These events are wonderful opportunities for folks who are interested in learning about other cultures to meet others with multi-cultural interests.
Pdf files with the 2018 schedules for our 4th Saturday free movies or pot-luck dinner programs are available here.  Movies are in odd-number months (January, ..) and dinners are in even-number months (February, …)
